Sub-Committees
MSC ALOT Sub-Committees
MSC ALOT has six sub-committees, each of which host freshmen who organize, facilitate, and run their respective programs.

Serving Everyone through Responsible Volunteering (SERV)
SERV works to put on events in partnership with organizations on campus and throughout the Bryan/College Station area. In the past, SERV has organized students, faculty, and other members of the community to give back, and help those in need in the Bryan/College Station area.

Becoming Leaders of Tomorrow (BLT)
The BLT Retreat is held during the tail end of winter break for members of MSC ALOT. Activities on this trip include keynote speakers, leadership seminars, service opportunities, and fun events that foster bonding within the FLO.

Culture and Traditions Assembly (CTA)
CTA hosts Cultural Leadership Festival, an event that strives to inform students about the importance of recognizing differences amongst cultures. In the past, this springtime program has involved food, musical performances, and other interactive booths from various cultures. On top of that, CTA has hosted other programs, like Cooking Across Cultures, that aim to highlight different cuisines around the world.

Development (DEVO)
DEVO helps to organize MSC ALOT’s finances, fundraising, and digital presence! DEVO works to make sure our freshmen feel supported in their growth professionally and academically. Freshmen involved in DEVO will have the opportunity to put on professional-based events that help them succeed in their careers.

FLO Member Outreach (FLOMO)
FLO Member Outreach is the social branch of MSC ALOT that coordinates events with other FLOs, plans monthly FLO-wide mixers, and hosts FLO’s Got Talent, our annual all-FLO competition. FLO’s Got Talent is a talent show that showcases freshmen from each FLO at Texas A&M to promote unity and leadership. It also provides an opportunity to serve the community while promoting camaraderie on campus.

Speak
Speak is a shared vision dedicated to building freshman leadership through the spreading of ideas. ALOT believes it is important to promote open discussion and build constructive communication skills. This subcommittee is dedicated to developing these values through hosting the TEDxTAMU conference and other speaking-based programs that promote productive conversation. Speak also hosts salons throughout the year to help freshmen grow their public speaking and presentation skills.
