Speak

Speak is a shared vision dedicated to building freshman leadership through the spreading of ideas. It is highly important to promote open discussions and build constructive communication skills. This subcommittee is dedicated to developing these values through hosting the TEDxTAMU conference and other speaking-based programs that truly evoke positive conversation. Aside from the development of confidence, teamwork, and leadership, a family is built through these programs.

Last year’s conference was on April 7th, 2024. It featured the theme Taboo, which aimed to acknowledge topics that are uncomfortable or deviate from societal norms. 339 tickets were sold, and the audience reported a 9.36/10 satisfaction rate.

This year, our conference will be held on March 30th, 2025, in Rudder Forum. The theme of the presentations is “Atlas.” Look out for upcoming ticket sales, and come explore what holds up the world with us.
